Terms of Service

1. Services

Event Nannies Kenya provides professional childcare services at events, including but not limited to weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, destination events, and private functions. Our services include trained nanny deployment, kids' activity zone setup, supervision, and related childcare support.

2. Booking & Payment

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking and secure your event date. The remaining 50% is due at the conclusion of the event. We accept M-Pesa, bank transfer, and card payments.

All proposals and quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made 7 or more days before the event date receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations within 7 days of the event will have the deposit applied as credit toward a future booking. Date changes are accommodated free of charge with at least 48 hours notice, subject to availability.

4. Safety & Supervision

All caregivers are vetted, trained, and first-aid certified. We maintain strict nanny-to-child ratios: 1:3 for infants (0-2 years), 1:5 for toddlers (3-5 years), and 1:8 for older children (6-12 years). A formal sign-in/sign-out process with ID verification is used at every event. Only pre-authorised adults may collect children.

5. Parent Responsibilities

Parents or guardians must provide accurate information about their children during sign-in, including allergies, medical conditions, dietary restrictions, and emergency contacts. Parents must inform us of any behavioural needs or special requirements in advance. Children must be signed in and out by an authorised adult.

6. Liability

Event Nannies Kenya carries professional liability insurance for every event. While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children in our care, we are not liable for pre-existing medical conditions, injuries resulting from undisclosed conditions, or loss of personal items brought by children to the event.

7. Photography & Content

We do not photograph or record children without parental consent. Any images used for marketing or social media are shared only after the event and only with written permission. We never share live event locations or children's identifiable information publicly.

8. Code of Conduct

Our team operates with professionalism, warmth, and respect at all times. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if we believe a child's safety or wellbeing is at risk due to circumstances beyond our control.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
